Wish List

This page will mostly be for my own personal use but feel free to browse it if you like.  This is where I will be showcasing the firearms and/or accessories that I hope to one day own.  Some of them I am sure I will never own, but everyone can dream right?  This page will be subject to change at any time since I never know what I want 100%, so check back often.

1911 chambered in .45ACP
The 1911 pistol is a classic design that has withstood the test of time and has seen duty all around the world.  Every gun owner should have one and I am happy to have one even if only chambered in 22lr.  I hope to get one chambered in .45 sometime in the future since that’s what the gun was designed to fire.  This isn’t something high on my list but I do definitely want one.

I love Nazi-era things.  I don’t support the Nazis or their actions during WWII, but I love their engineering.  The Germans were far ahead of everyone else in technology during that time period and it’s reflected in the designs of many of their weapons.  If not for the industrial strength of the United States and the joint effort by all of the allies, Germany could’ve probably went on to dominate all of Europe.  I mean after all, when the war was over, the United States gladly welcomed top Nazi scientists, like Wernher Von Braun, into our country with open arms.  I’m also a big fan of blasting through a great deal of .22lr ammo which is what this replicated gun is designed to shoot.

Kel Tec SU-16D
I first found out about this rifle over at a blog called Accidental Survivalist.  It was a pretty neat looking weapon and I looking into it a bit more before quickly deciding I wanted one of these.  It’s pretty cool that this thing weighs less than 5 pounds and accepts standard AR15 magazines.  It also comes with a few rails for adding accessories.  All for about the same cost as my custom built AR15.

The AK47 is the classic bad guy rifle.  They’ve been used by many of our nation’s enemies over the past several decades and have earned their reputation.  But that’s not why I want one.  I just think they are really neat weapons with an interesting history.  They were developed right after WWII and served with many nations and military groups throughout the Cold War and into the present.  And to quote the Wiki, “More AK-type rifles have been produced than all other assault rifles combined”.  Besides, just look at it.  You can’t tell me that’s not a sexy weapon.

It’s not that I want to run around looking like James Bond or anything.  I’ve just always hated loud noises.  They make me uneasy.  And shooting in general makes me uncomfortable at home because I don’t like irritating my neighbors.  Suppressors just make sense to me.  Being able to shoot while decreasing the noise is something I want really bad.  Suppressors are kinda expensive though and require a special license that I’m just not quite ready to dive into just yet.
