I’m not a political person, and this is not a political blog.  But I just want to remind everyone to vote tomorrow.

You may not think your vote matters, and in some states (California, Texas, etc) it probably doesn’t.  But you have the constitutionally guaranteed right to vote for our future president and you should at least try to make your voice heard.

Saying you don’t like either Obama or Romeny is no reason not to vote either.  Both republicans and democrats go to great lengths to ensure their parties are the only ones being mentioned.  But there’s more than just TWO political parties!  There are several others that have a candidate on the ballot in every state!

I don’t agree 100% with the beliefs of either republicans OR democrats.  I’m pro-guns (obviously), pro-choice, against excess government control, and against high taxes.  Becaue of that, I’m voting for the Libertarian, Gary Johnson.  His stance on a lot of issues mirrors mine much better than either from the big two parties.

I know he won’t win the election but its a dream of mine to see a United States with more than two presidential candidates that stand a chance of winning.  Having a polarized government is what makes it so hard for them to work together.  Having more variance in opinions is better for everyone and better reflects the needs of the american people.

I doubt we’ll ever see my dream become a reality, but it’s a nice thought.  Either way, get out there and vote!
